On Sunday, long-time members joined brand new members (some who signed up that day!) in making superhero puppets with guidance from Brad Shur of Paper Heart Puppets. Kids and their grown-ups, and some grown-ups without their kids, all had fun adding personality to their cardboard puppets with capes, masks, and curls. Some kids made their own versions of Cat Woman and Wonder Woman, while others expanded on what Brad demonstrated and gave their superhero a ninja-style mask. We then gathered for some heroic photos and enjoyed some superhero music before calling it a day!
We love having you in our audience and hearing your oohs, ahhs, and applause, but there is truly nothing quite like hanging out with our biggest fans and witnessing your creativity firsthand. We couldn’t do what we do without you — our members, audience, and supporters — and you are definitely all superheroes to us!
