Theater Hours
The lobby, box office, and puppet store are open 30 minutes before the first scheduled performance of the day.
On days with no performance we still love to have visitors, but we don't have set hours.
You can always come on by and see if we're here. Or, call us at 617-731-6400 ext. 101 or email us at boxoffice@puppetshowplace.org to find a good time to visit.
Directions & Parking
By Car: We are located at 32 Station Street, Brookline, MA 02445.
Station Street is a one-way street with metered parking available for $2/hr. Meters take quarters, credit cards, or payment by app.
There is a parking garage located at One Brookline Place and four municipal parking lots in Brookline Village.
By Public Transit:
We are located directly across the street from the Brookline Village T stop, on the Green Line “D” Train. We are also close to stops for the 39, 65, and 66 buses. You can view various T stops or plan your trip by going to www.mbta.com.
Step-Free Entrance: Puppet Showplace has a step-free entrance located in the back of our building. While it is step-free, there may be other obstacles, and you must flip up a latch on a gate, and push it open. If you are unable to open the gate please call us at 617-731-6400 ext. 101 and we will assist you.
In addition, the entrance is a regular door and it does not have a push plate. If you need assistance opening the door, please press the doorbell and we will open it for you.
To get to the step-free entrance, proceed past the HC Studio Hair Salon (located to the left of Puppet Showplace, at 30 Station Street), through the wooden gate. Follow the signs around the building to find the door to the theater,
We are working to increase accessibility at Puppet Showplace Theater and we currently have renovations scheduled for summer of 2025 to make our building truly accessible.
