Internships at Puppet Showplace Theatre

Completing an internship at PST is an excellent opportunity to gain insight and hands-on experience in a non-profit institution, while building relationships with a dedicated professional staff.  Internships are available in marketing, graphic design, development, education outreach, teaching assistantships, arts administration, or other areas of interest.  Internships are available on a rolling basis with flexible hours and credit available for students enrolled in a college or university.  For more information or to apply, send a cover letter and resume to info@puppetshowplace.org

Education Outreach and Marketing Intern provides assistance to the Communications Director at PST. Aspects of arts education, educational material development, and other areas of interest will be incorporated into the internship. The ideal candidate has experience in the classroom as an educator, and is passionate about the value of arts education for all ages. Development and Corporate Relations Intern provides assistance to the Communications Director
Coordinator at PST. Aspects of fundraising, database management, corporate relations, and other areas of interest will be incorporated into the internship. The ideal candidate has interest in the performing arts, thrives in a creative teamwork environment, is a quick and eager learner, and has excellent computer skills. Marketing and Social Media Intern provides assistance to the Communications Director at
PST. Aspects of marketing, journalism, on-line social networking, development of promotions and advertising, and other areas of interest will be incorporated into the internship. The ideal candidate will have experience with publicity efforts in the performing arts, thrive in a creative team work environment, be a quick and eager learner, and have excellent computer skills. Design and Production Intern works to support PST's Graphic Designer. Aspects of print design, print production, web content management, web design, and other areas of interest will be incorporated into the internship.
