Field Trips for Schools and Camps

Field Trips

For over 39 years, the Puppet Showplace Theatre has been introducing young audiences to the enchantment of live theatre.  Field trips to Puppet Showplace Theatre are designed both to entertain and to support curriculum. Puppet Showplace staff members can suggest a variety of shows that will be age and topic appropriate for your students.

Our shows highlight:

• Stories, art, literature, and music from around the world
• Developmental skills like counting, reading and expression
• Values such as sharing, teamwork, and conservation

Grant Funding for School Groups:

Funded by the Brookline Community Foundation and private donors, The Mary Churchill Fund is for schools and youth of all backgrounds and socio-economic status. The subsidy is a program of the fund that targets low-income and underserved populations, increasing opportunities for these children to enjoy works of puppetry by subsidizing tickets to performances at Puppet Showplace Theatre for schools, camps, youth programs and other community partners.

Please complete this simple application in order to be considered for a subsidy. The application must be complete in order to be eligible. Applications must be submitted at least three weeks in advance of the field trip.
