Frequently Asked Questions
- How much are tickets?
- Ticket prices are $10 for general admission for our
children's performances ($8 for PST members). Puppets
at Night ticket prices vary, with a discounted price
offered to PST members, students, and low income persons.
My child is under two, do I have to pay for them? Do you have
shows that are recommended for children under 3?
- Everyone 12 months and older needs a ticket for the performance,
but, the shows are not designed for 0-2 year-old's attention
span. Parents may bring their toddlers to "try out a
show" and are encouraged to take as many breaks into
our lobby as they need during the course of the performance.
Do I need to make a reservation? Can I do that online?
- We always recommended reservations. Our intimate theatre seats
100 and we can never predict when we will sell out. To make
a reservation, call the box office and we can process your
ticket order by using Visa, MasterCard or
American Express. At this time we are unable to
accept online reservations.
How long are your performances?
- In general, most of our family performances run about 45
minutes to an hour and vary in content.
Do you have shows everyday?
- During the school year our shows times are on Wednesday and
Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. for the 3-6 year olds and Saturday and
Sunday at 1p.m. and 3 p.m. for families. During the December,
February, and April School Vacation Weeks we offer two shows
each day at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. In the summer our show times are
Wednesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. See show descriptions
for age recommendations.
How do I get to the theatre by mass transit?
- We are directly across the street from the Brookline Village
subway stop which is on the D Green Line. You can view various
stops on the subway by going to
